100 criminals held under special operation by Ghaziabad police

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kalanidhi Naithani oversaw the marathon campaign last night under which 66 wanted and 34 warranted criminals were arrested.

Ghaziabad: Under operation 'Prahaar', launched by the Ghaziabad police, as many as 100 wanted/warranted criminals were arrested, official sources said.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kalanidhi Naithani oversaw the marathon campaign last night under which 66 wanted and 34 warranted criminals were arrested. Naithani told media here that 127 vehicles were also seized for violating traffic rules.

A number of illegal firearms were also recovered from various places in the district, the police official added.

He said the 'Prahaar', which including surprising raids, would continue to nab the criminals.
