Hyderabad: Youth Welfare Organization Telangana is engaged in performing the last rites of the deceased from COVID-19. For the last two months, the organization has been performing the last rites of people belonging to all religions. The organisation's president, Jalaluddin, said that COVID-19 has intimidated the people so much that they are reluctant to perform the last rites of those who have died.

Jalal called it a moment of concern. He said that the victims were being buried without performing any religious rites and the municipal authorities were conducting the burial with disrespect. Seeing this painful process, Youth Welfare decided to perform the last rites of the bodies religiously.
