Woman dies in tiger attack in Telangana

Woman labourer killed in a tiger attack in Telangana. This is the second such incident in the state after a young boy was killed by a tiger on 11 November.

Hyderabad:A woman labourer has died in a tiger attack in Kumuram bheem district in Telangana. The woman, Nirmala, from Andhra Pradesh's Kondapally was working in a cotton field when she was attacked by the tiger. She died on the spot.

Police handed over the dead body to her family. The incident has caused panic among the locals.

Another similar incident took place in Dahega Mandal on November 11th. A young boy named Vignesh was killed by a tiger.

As human encroachments continue to rise, such human-animal conflicts, often resulting in loss of life, have spiked through the years.
