Hyderabad:Congress and Telangana Rashtra Samithi activists clashed today outside the Telangana Congress State President Revanth Reddy's house. TRS activists attempted to block Revanth Reddy's house while Congress activists prevented them. In the ensuing melee, a fight broke out between the supporters of both parties. Telangana Police reached Revanth Reddy's house and cleared the volatile situation.

Meanwhile, the Twitter war continues between Revanth Reddy and TRS working President, K. T. Rama Rao for the past few days. Riled by Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee President Revanth Reddy's tweets, Minister KT Rama Rao has filed a defamation suit. KT Rama Rao in a heated argument on Twitter challenged Rahul Gandhi of undergoing a drug test.

Revanth Reddy threw the White Challenge in the context of the ongoing Tollywood drugs case. The case has been investigated by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with money laundering. Several actors and persons related to the film industry have been quizzed. The drugs racket was busted on July 2, 2017, when customs officials arrested Calvin Mascarenhas, a musician, and two others and seized drugs worth Rs 30 lakh from their possession.

On this issue, TRS activists attempted to seige Revanth Reddy's residence today. Meanwhile, Police have increased the security at Revanth Reddy's House. Special police pickets were set up near Revanth Reddy's house at a distance of 200 meters.
