After coming to know about Sainath's deeds, Sunita and Anusha confronted him, forcing him to stop betting.

On the 23rd of this month, he mixed poison capsules in the food and later went to work. Mother and sister both consumed the poisonous food. The mother, who did not know about the truth called Sainath and instructed him not to eat the food as they have fallen ill.

However, Sainath Reddy, who reached home immediately, did not take them to the hospital until they reached a state of unconsciousness.

Anusha died on November 27 and Sunita on November 28.

After the funeral, family members and relatives forced him to divulge the truth. Later on, Sainath confessed about the conspiracy.
