Kota:Following ETV Bharat's report on immunity booster garlic capsule made in Kota, Telangana government has decided to send a Memorandum of Understanding to Kota Agricultural University in order to kickstart garlic herbal capsules production in the state. The demand for the capsule has witnessed an uptick as it is said to keep Covid-19 at bay.
Dr Mamta Tiwari, Director of Human Resources, Kota Agricultural University, said that she has received letter from Venkataraman Reddy, Director, Horticulture and Sericulture Department, Telangana Government. She also added that they have also received requests for training. A training module has been formulated so that youth of Telangana, women, self-help groups can be given training in this regard.

Three days training
Tiwari said that Agricultural University, Kota is willing to provide training for three days either in Kota or Hyderabad. The training would encapsulate on raw materials, packaging, machinery, manufacturing of capsules. A proposal regarding the same has been sent already, she added.
The aim of Agricultural University is to ramp up the production of capsules as the demand is very high. It would be highly beneficial if more and more people learn how to make it and include it in their diets, according to Tiwari.
