Hyderabad:No sooner did a positive Coronavirus case emerge from Telangana, the state government has ramped up preventive measures to contain the same with Health Minister E Rajender announcing the setting up of a special hospital to deal with such cases.
In a meeting held on Tuesday, all the state ministers decided to work together in coordination and make necessary arrangements to combat the outbreak.
"Separate nodal officers will be also be appointed in all nine branches as well as lung doctors and nurses would be kept on alert as per requirement. An advisory will be issued to all private hospitals to send the suspected patients to the government hospitals for better treatment," maintained Rajender.

Meanwhile, TRS Rajya Sabha member Laxmikant Rao on Tuesday asserted that the Telangana state government was "well equipped" and ready to face the deadly Coronavirus.
"The Telangana government and the federal government is well equipped in curbing Coronavirus. We will not let it spread. We are prepared to fight with it," he said while speaking to reporters in New Delhi.
