T'gana: 6-months pregnant woman set ablaze by husband, in-laws

Identified as Seethalu, the victim has suffered grievous burns and injuries and continues to remain in a critical state.

Nizamabad (Telangana): A six-months-pregnant woman was set ablaze by her husband and in-laws in Telangana's Nizamabad district on Friday. The victim, identified as Seethalu, was set afire by her in-laws.

She was later admitted to a government-run hospital by her in-laws, after which they went absconding.

Seethalu was allegedly harassed and tortured by her in-laws after a month into her marriage. She has suffered grievous burns and injuries and is in a critical state.

The police, meanwhile, has registered a case over the gruesome incident.
