Medical student from Hyderabad dies after getting a Covid jab in Puducherry

A youth from Hyderabad studying in a private medical college in Puducherry died after being administered a COVID19 vaccine. He was feeling dizziness and cough on Saturday morning after which his roommates rushed him to hospital where he was proclaimed dead.

Puducherry: A youth from Hyderabad studying in a private medical college in Puducherry died after being administered a COVID19 vaccine. Gudi Medla Sankalp son of Gudi Medla Chiranjeevi from Hyderabad was studying MBBS second year at the Lakshminarayanan Private Medical College, Pondicherry.

He was staying in the college hostel. Sankalp took a COVID19 jab at Puducherry Koodapakkam Primary Health Center on Oct 1. On Saturday, his roommates called him for breakfast but he could not eat since he was having a cough and dizziness.

The students rushed him to the Medical College Hospital for treatment. But the doctors who examined him said Sankalp was dead. Local police have filed a case and investigating further.
