Hyderabad (Telangana):At a time when the entire world is afflicted by the deadly COVID-19 pandemic, a Hyderabad family comes across as extremely inspirational, as all of them are doctors currently engaged in the fight against the virus outbreak.
Dr Mahaboob Khan, who is currently serving as the Superintendent of the city's Chest Hospital, is a specialist in respiratory diseases.
He is currently working in the treatment of COVID-19 patients admitted at the hospital.
Pertinently, Khan played an extremely crucial role in the treatment of the nine Indonesian nationals who had tested positive for COVID-19 in Telangana.
His wife too is a doctor, who works at the Gandhi Hospital in the city. Dr Shahana Khan, a dermatologist, is currently working in the hospital's COVID-19 ward.
The couple daughter, Dr Rashiqa Khan, a house surgeon at the city's Fever Hospital, and just like her parents, is also currently engaged in the treatment of COVID-19 patients.
The family has set itself as the perfect example of India's healthcare workers, who are working round-the-clock to arrest the spread of the deadly virus.
