Hyderabad voters take AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi to task

People at Jambagh division in Hyderabad refused to let AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi speak at an election rally. The people said that they were not given flood relief yet and asked how he could ask for votes in the GHMC elections.

Hyderabad: People gave a shock to AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi during an election campaign. The people prevented the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief, MP Asaduddin Owaisi from supporting AIMIM candidate Ravindar at Jambagh division in Hyderabad.

"We have not received flood relief yet", the people insinuated. No one helps us with troubles. How u can you ask votes now for GHMC elections', people asked. Asaduddin Owaisi did not answer, returning instead.

Each of the flood-affected households were supposed to get Rs. 10,000. Those people whose houses completely collapsed were to be given Rs. 1 lakh while those with partially damaged houses were to be given Rs. 50,000.
