Hyderabad:Telangana police have arrested three people associated with a notorious dacoity gang. The police recovered cash and gold worth Rs 20 lakhs from the three accused -- Netra Bahadur Shahi, Prakash Shahi and Sita Lawar, all belonging to Nepal.

Netra Bahadur Shahi, who led the team, identified people from his nearby villages and were working in major cities like Hyderabad, Bangalore and Mumbai as housemaids and servants.
Netra befriended them and convinced them to help him commit these offences. Netra had the domestic helps slip sleeping pills in their owners' food. Once the owners fall unconscious, the group would break-in and make away with jewellery, cash, and other valuables. The group then used to return to Nepal through different routes.
The group was arrested with the assistance of UP Police, Uttarakhand Police and the SSB.
