Hyderabad journalist's kidnapped son found murdered

A nine-year-old son of a newspaper journalist, who was abducted on Sunday at around 7 pm while he was playing outside his house in Mahabubabad district of Telangana for a ransom of Rs 45 lakh, was found murdered on Thursday morning.

Hyderabad (Telangana): A newspaper journalist’s nine-year-old son, Dixit Reddy, who was kidnapped three days ago for a ransom Rs 45 lakh in Mahabubabad town in Telangana, was found murdered in the city suburbs on Thursday morning.

The police found his body on a hillock and did not allow anyone into the area.

The boy was abducted on Sunday at around 7 pm while he was playing outside his house in Mahabubabad town.

The abductors had come on a bike.

Later, the police arrested the people involved in the kidnapping.

Later, the kidnappers contacted the boy's mother over the phone through the internet and demanded the sum to release him. Ten teams were formed and CCTV footage was being examined to trace the boy and the kidnappers.

The search, however, turned into a tragedy.
