Father poisons newborn female twins in Telangana

A father tried to kill his newborn twin baby girls by mixing pesticides in the milk in Mahabubnagar district on Friday. The man was arrested after police studied CCTV footage and an investigation is on.

Mahabubnagar:In a heart-wrenching incident in Telangana, a father tried to kill his newborn twin baby girls by mixing poison in the milk.

The shocking incident took place in Mahabubnagar district on Friday.

Keshavalu is a resident of Desaipally in Gandeed Mandal. His wife gave birth to the twins at a private hospital in Kosgi earlier this month.

Upset that the twins were girls, Keshavalu fed the infants milk mixed with pesticides. The babies are said to be in a critical condition in a hospital.

CCTV footage showed the father mixing pesticides with the milk, according to reports.

Police have arrested the man and started an investigation into the incident.
