Covid cases decreasing in Telangana; Recovery rate rises

As COVID19 cases dropping drastically in the state in the past few days, hospital beds are getting vacant. The number of Covid19 recovered patients are increasing in the state along with the speed of hospital discharges.

Hyderabad: As corona cases dropping drastically in the state in the past few days, hospital beds are getting vacant. The number of Covid recovered patients are increasing in the state along with the speed of hospital discharges.

By Saturday afternoon, 1174 ICU beds and 8164 oxygen beds were vacant. 406 tones of oxygen have been used for covid patients treatment.

Around 12,247 covid patients are currently getting treatment across 135 covid care centres across the state.

Out of these 135 centres, 25 centres have no Covid patients. There are less than 10 people in 15 centres. Around 50 people are present in 30 centres. While there are up to 5 centres with 500 to 1000 Covid patients.

A total of 3,247 people were discharged on Saturday while 1,248 were admitted to hospitals in the state.
