Woman attacked with country made bomb in Chennai

A woman was attacked with a country-made bomb near the Casino theatre in Chennai. The woman was identified as the third wife of infamous rowdy Thottam Sekar.

Chennai:Unidentified assailants attacked a woman with a country-made bomb near Casino theatre in Chennai on Thursday, leading to the police officials issuing a security alert ahead of China President Xi Jinping meeting with PM Modi on Oct 11-12 for a second informal summit.

The woman, identified as the third wife of infamous rowdy Thottam Sekar, was stabbed with a knife and later had a bomb thrown at her, leading chaos in the area.

Reportedly, a gang of six members was involved in the attack.
