Coimbatore: A male wild elephant entered forcibly into Siruvani water treatment plant by breaking the iron gates on Tuesday. The entire incident was captured by the staff members of the water plant.
A large number of elephants, tigers, leopards are residing in the Boluvampatti forest range under the Western Ghats. The Western Ghats has become a habitat for these animals owing to its favourable climate.
Many wild elephants often come to Sadivayal forest area to graze, which is nearby the Siruvani water treatment plant.
