New Delhi:The Supreme Court on Monday issued notice in a matter pertaining to a 2016 honour killing case from Tamil Nadu, where a Dalit youth was allegedly killed on the directions of the father of the woman he was married to.

The apex court agreed to examine the appeal filed by the Tamil Nadu government challenging the Madras High Court decision of acquitting the prime accused in the 2016 Udumalpet case.
