TN youth wins biryani eating competition in 9 minutes

Marina restaurant here had organised Biryani Eating Contest and served 1 kg of chicken biryani to 25 selected contestants. The winner of the competition completed the task in just nine minutes and won a cash prize of Rs. 5000.

Erode (Tamil Nadu):ABiryani Eating Contest was organised by the Marina Restaurant here on Sunday.

The announcement was posted on Facebook for all biriyani lovers.

More than 500 people had registered for this contest through Facebook.

Out of which, 25 (including women) were selected to participate in the competition.

The restaurant served 1Kg of chicken briyani each for all the selected participants.

The winner of the competition was Rahul, who finished the task in just nine minutes.

He was awarded Rs. 5000 as the cash prize.

The runnerup completed the task in 10 minutes and was awarded with Rs. 3000 cash prize.

The participate who won the third place finished the task in 12 minutes for a cash prize of Rs. 2000.
