Tamil Nadu: Six killed as truck rams car

Six people died when a truck rammed into a car they were travelling in at Chinnaveppanatham near Namakkal in Tamil Nadu on Saturday. Police have recovered the bodies and sent it for autopsy.

Namakkal (Tamil Nadu):At least six people including four workers from Bihar killed in a road accident in Tamil Nadu's Namakkal District in the wee hours of Saturday, police said.

The incident took place while a Tata Sumo in which the workers were returning from their workplace in Kattupudur, collided with a bricks lorry near Chinnaveppanatham area.

Being informed, police have rushed to the accident site for conducting a rescue operation.

Following the investigation, deceased are identified as Dharma, Babloo, Kumar, Sathish from Bihar and other two are the residents of Tamil Nadu.

Police have recovered the bodies and sent for autopsy.
