Madurai (Tamil Nadu):Meet Chef Robo, the fully automated kitchen in Madurai district of Tamil Nadu which can cook over 500 meals without any manual effort. The Robochef can also cook multiple cuisines for a large gathering.
Even though it does not function as a humanoid, the developers claim that the automated feature comes with great efficiency and quality. The innovative design comprising of a massive stainless steel structure was introduced by a start-up based in Chennai.
Robotic kitchen serves up multiple meals in Madurai Unlike the human chef, the robochef needs to be pre-programmed to cook and serve multiple recipes. Once the ingredients are fed into the structure, the entire process remains automated until the food is served to the customer.

Speaking to ETV Bharat, Chef Robo company's CEO Sundramoorthy said, "We have introduced a first of its kind cooking robot. We need to put all necessary ingredients into the Robot and can order our dish through our mobile app or the touch screen dashboard. The Robot will prepare the food and deliver it in ready to serve manner."
Besides, the Robo was awarded the best start-up innovation in German Science expo. Currently, Chef Robo functions in eight Indian cities including Chennai and Bengaluru.
The Robo can cook for 800 people at the same time with a reduction in food wastage and maximum accuracy.
The robotic kitchen is certified by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI).
