Thoothukudi (Tamil Nadu): Six men who were stranded near Lakshadweep's Minicoy island for two days were rescued by a group of fellow merchants on Monday.
The men had to go on a business trip to Minicoy island on May 21 and they were reportedly stuck in a storm ripping off and drowning their small merchandise boat 'Hassan Allah'.
Meanwhile, a group of fellow merchants who were on their way back from Minicoy to Tamil Nadu's Thoothukudi saw the stranded-six and rescued and dropped them off at Thoothukudi old Harbor.
