Monkey grabs away two newborns; Rescue attempt succeeds to recover one

Bhuvaneshwari, who was unaware of the incident, searched for the baby who was grabbed by the monkey. When she saw the broken rooftop, she informed the neighbours. While people were busy searching for the infant, the monkey again arrived at her house and grabbed the second baby.

Thanjavur (Tamil Nadu):In a shocking incident, a monkey grabbed two infants, one after the other, from a house by breaking in through the rooftop in the broad daylight on Saturday.

According to reports, Bhuvaneshwari, a 27-year-old woman, gave birth to two twins last week. On Saturday, he left the babies while they were sleeping.

In the meantime, the monkey broke the rooftop of the house and escaped with one of the baby girls from the house.

Bhuvaneshwari, who was unaware of the incident, searched for the first baby. When she saw the broken rooftop, she informed the neighbours. While people were searching for the infant, the monkey again arrived at her house and grabbed the second baby.

When the locals noticed the monkey, they shouted for help and luckily, the monkey dropped the baby and ran away.

However, the first baby which was lifted by the monkey was not lucky as it was found lifeless in a nearby pool.
