Self-proclaimed Godman Shiv Shankar Baba arrested, charged under POCSO

Self-proclaimed Godman and Sushil Hari International School founder Sivasankar Baba has been arrested by the Crime Branch Criminal Investigation Division (CBCID) Tamil Nadu in a sexual harassment case filed by the alumni of the school. Baba has been booked under POCSO.

New Delhi: Sushil Hari International School founder Sivasankar Baba was arrested by the Crime Branch Criminal Investigation Division (CBCID) Tamil Nadu earlier today. He was later produced at the Delhi High court.

Baba was booked under POCSO in the sexual harassment case filed by the alumni of the school. Following the allegations, the case was registered against him on June 12th in the Mamallapuram all-women police station and transferred to CBCID the next day.

Following this, The CBCID personnel rushed to Dehradun Hospital on Tuesday where he was admitted after complaining about Chest pain. The CBCID had earlier issued a lookout notice against the accused to prevent him from escaping from the country.

The Chengalpattu District Child Welfare Board has recommended cancelling the accreditation of the Sushil Hari School run by Sivasankar Baba at Kalambakkam and request the Government to take over it.

The self-proclaimed Godman attracted the ire of the authorities after alumni of the school revealed the innuendos and sexcapades of the school founder.
