Pollachi assault case: Protests in Chennai demanding time bond investigations

Several organisations held protests over Pollachi sexual assault case on Friday. They came on the streets to express solidarity with the affected women.

Chennai: Various organisations in Chennai came on the street to protest over the Pollachi sexual assault case.

While talking to the media, a protester said, "We have been talking on social media, work place or in a room, but we need to come out on the streets to express solidarity with the women."

"We want the CM to come and address the people; as this is the higher priority. We are not able to sleep in the night. We need stronger laws and time-bound investigations," he added.
