Joint MD of Lanson Group found hanging at her residence

Businesswoman Reeta Lankalingam, who was the Joint Managing Director of Lanson Toyota Car was on Thursday found dead at her residence in Chennai.

Chennai:Businesswoman Reeta Lankalingam who was the Joint Managing Director of Lanson Toyota Car was found hanging at her residence in Nungambakkam area, here on Thursday, police said.

Reeta, 49, who stayed with her husband M Lankalingam and two children, worked as Joint Managing Director of the group dealing with the sales of a popular four-wheeler brand, police said adding she was found hanging at her residence this morning.

"No suicide note has been found so far...we suspect family issues (as the reason) for her suicide," a police official dealing with the case said.

A thorough probe was on, he said.
