Chennai:A four-year-old girl from Tamil Nadu's Chennai was allegedly raped and murdered by an Ex-servicemen on Thursday.
The incident took place in Avadi area of Chennai, the police officials said.
According to preliminary reports, the police have said that the deceased was alone in the house when she was allegedly abducted by the accused. She was termed missing when her parents returned home.
Following this, the family filed a complaint in a nearby police station.
During the search operation, the district police found the dead body of the girl in tow sacks in the accused's house.
It is reported that the Ex-Army man, who is kin of the victim's family, was arrested on account of evidence. The accused later confessed to the crimes.
