Four people killed in a road accident in Tamil Nadu

Four people, including three family-member and a biker, were killed when their car hit the two-wheeler near Paramakudi in Tamil Nadu's Ramanathapuram district. Meanwhile, the car driver who tried to flee has been detained.

Ramanathapuram(Tamil Nadu): Four people, including three family-member and a biker, were killed in a road accident near Paramakudi in Tamil Nadu's Ramanathapuram district on Tuesday, police said.

The incident took place when the car in which the family were travelling hit the two-wheeler and four of them died on the spot, said police.

Another person who was also in the car got serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital, police added.

Meanwhile, the car driver, who jumped out of the vehicle and tried to flee, has been detained.
