Five killed in car-lorry collision in TN

Five killed their collided with a lorry at Coimbatore's Vellalore. Four of them died on the spot while driver of the car died later in a hospital.

Coimbatore(Tamil Nadu): Five people of a family, including a woman, were killed in a road accident in the early hours of Saturday at Coimbatore's Vellalore in Tamil Nadu, police said.

The family was proceeding to Salem, when the car in which they were travelling, collided head-on with a lorry, they said.

While four of them died on the spot, the driver of the vehicle succumbed to his injuries at a hospital, the police added.

Meanwhile, further investigation is on.
