Drunken cop beaten in sexual misconduct in Chennai

Chennai:A 39-year-old drunken policeman was beaten badly by the passerby after he insisted a 20-year-old girl to took a ride on his motorcycle in the wee hours of Monday.

According to the reports, Raju, who has been deployed at the at MGR Nagar police station as Chief Constable asked a hospital employee to took a ride with him on his motorbike. When she refused the offer, he started insisting her.

Noticing the incident, some locals started beating the cop badly.

Vadapalani police who arrived after people informed about the incident took to the hospital and admitted the cop in the drunken state.

Meanwhile, a probe has been initiated by the police and those involved in the violence will be identified by the videos which went viral on several media platforms.
