Terrified, Muthusamy fell at the feet of Gopinath begging for his forgiveness even as the VAO tried to stop him.

Kalaiselvi, when asked about this incident, ruled it out as a caste issue. "This is not a caste issue. Gopinath came to VAO office for the first time and when Gopinath started to shout, Muthusamy asked him to mellow down. They both argued and later Muthusamy who was threatened, fell at Gopinath's feet. I don't know if Muthusamy is going to complain about this or not” she said.

In the video, Gopinath could be seen admitting that it was his fault too and he had forgiven him. This video where the VAO's assistant falling at the feet of a man has shocked people and police have started an investigation on this incident.
