Cuddalore: A boiler explosion was reported at an industrial plant in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu. According to reports, seven people have been injured in the incident.Early reports indicate that a short circuit was the cause behind the explosion.

Earlier today, a major leak from a polymer plant in Vishakapatanam, Andhra Pradesh impacted villages in a five-km radius, leaving 11 people dead and scores of citizens suffering from breathlessness and other problems in an early morning mishap that raised fears of a serious industrial disaster.
