Marble slurry waste was shaping to major threat of Aravali range by mining and processing activities as waste generated during quarrying or mining of marble used to get dumped on the ranges.
Due to excessive dumping of marble slurry, the Aravali region had almost ended up as barren mountains devoid of vegetation.
