Jhalawar(Rajasthan): Three persons were arrested by Jhalawar police on Sunday for allegedly raping a woman for over a month at Bhalta area in Rajasthan's Jhalrapatan.
The accused persons have been identified as woman's father in law, Bharat Singh, her brother in law, Mahendra Singh and her husband Pradhan Singh. The victim told police that she was raped by her father in law and her brother in law on at least four occasions last month.
Woman alleges rape by father-in-law and brother in law in Rajasthan Speaking to media persons, DSP of Jhalawar police station, Gopal Meena said, "The woman was raped on several occasions by the accused at her house and was threatened with dire consequences if she revealed it to anyone. Since the marriage, the woman was not having any children. Due to which brother-in-law and father-in-law raped the woman in turn. We have arrested the husband of the woman because he supported his father and brother to commit the crime."
The police have registered a case of rape and are trying to find out the whereabouts of her husband to get into more details about the case.
