Bharatpur (Rajasthan): After the Supreme Court's decision on Ayodhya land dispute, the roadblock to the Ram temple construction in Ayodhya has been cleared.
New Ram temple dependent on Bansi Paharpur The stir has also intensified among the stone traders in Bansi Paharpur in Bharatpur district as its pink stones are in huge demand.
The 60 per cent of the stone for the temple construction has to go from Bansi Paharpur for which stone traders and labourers are working hard day and night.
Huge blocks of stones are being sent to Ayodhya for construction of Ram mandir.
About 2.5 lakh cubic feet of stone will be used from Bansi Paharpur. Whereas, about 1 lakh cubic stones have already been supplied.
At the same time, about 1 lakh cubic stones have already been supplied. Apart from Bansi Paharpur, stones are also being sent from Pindwara, Sirohi for the temple construction.
The speciality of Bansi Paharpur stone
The speciality of Bansi, Paharpur stone is that it survives for the longest period of 5 thousand years. This is the reason why the stones from this region have maintained their identity.

In comparison to other stones, these stones are capable of bear a heavier burden.
Parliament House, Red Fort, Buland Darwaza, Akshardham and many ISKON temples were constructed by using Bansi Bharatpur's pink stone.
The quality of this stone is that the more it gets wet in the rain the more splendid it becomes.
The labourers working in the stone quarries told that the stone carving work has been started for the construction of Ram temple. They said that there is a demand for these stones even outside India.
They informed that 20 trolleys of stone shall be sent to Ayodhya for the construction of the temple which will take approximately 2 years and 6 months to complete.
During the Ram temple movement, Ramshilaswere taken from Bharatpur
It is pertinent to mention that during the Ram temple movement in Ayodhya, the bricks with Ram’s name written on it were prepared in the kilns of Bharatpur which were used in the shilanyas.
It is said that Sitaram Agarwal, the then regional Sangh director of RSS, was a big name in the business of brick kilns. Ramshila bricks were secretly prepared in his kilns.
