Video of celebratory firing by Rajasthan MLA's son goes viral

A video of celebratory firing by Rohit Khadiya, son of Rajasthan independent MLA, has gone viral on the social media

Dungarpur (Rajasthan):A video of celebratory firing during a marriage ceremony by Rohit Khadiya, son of Independent MLA Ramila Khadiya, has gone viral on the social media. Rohit Khadiya is the District Vice President of the Youth Congress and son of Ramila Khadiya, who represents the Kushalgarh Assembly Constituency in the state Assembly.

In the 15-second video, along with Rohit, a couple of his friends are seen possessing a gun in their hands. It is suspected that the video of celebratory firing is from one of the marriage ceremonies, which took places within the limits of the Kushalgarh assembly constituency. The celebratory firing video was uploaded by Rohit Khadiya on his social media accounts. After this, the video soon became viral.

Rohit, however, later deleted the video from his social media accounts, but till then it had already become viral on social media websites. After the video has surfaced, the local police officials are yet to respond over the incident. It remains to be seen what action is initiated by local police or the administration over the incident.

Meanwhile, the MLA Ramila Khadiya has claimed that she does not posses any gun and denied any such incident taking place. Rohit has also claimed that he does not posses any gun, but has apologized for his mistake. Celebratory firing is shooting of a firearm into the air in celebration.
