Suspected intruders shot dead by BSF at Indo-Pak border

Two Pakistani intruders were killed on Wednesday as BSF an infiltration bid by terrorists along the International Border in Rajasthan's Sri Ganganagar.

Jaipur (Rajasthan):Two Pakistani infiltrators were killed by the Border Security Force (BSF) on Wednesday along the India-Pakistan International Border in Rajasthan's Sri Ganga Nagar, officials said.

The intruders tried to enter the Indian side near Khyaliwala border post along the Gaj Singapur border on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

"BSF troops observed two Pakistani intruders who tried to cross the International border and attempted to sneak over the fence. They were challenged, however, they did not stop and tried to cross the over the Indian side."

The intruders did not stop when the BSF jawans stopped them following which they were fired upon.

Pakistani currency and some weapons have also been recovered.

Upon receiving the information, BSF high commander and Gajsinghpur police reached the spot to took stock of the incident.

According to the information, both intruders wanted to cross the Indian border. Earlier, similar attempts made by Pakistan during day time were also foiled by the BSF.

Earlier, on August 29, Two Pakistani terrorists were killed and another was injured as Indian Army personnel foiled a major infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district.
