Three minor girls drown in Rajasthan

Sogpura resident Shyam Lal's and his sister's two daughters drowned on Sunday afternoon when they went to take bath in a drainage basin. The bodies were recovered and were sent to Bagidora mortuary for postmortem.

Banswara:Three minor girls drowned on Sunday afternoon when they went to take bath in a drainage basin in Sogpura village, Rajasthan.

As soon as the news went viral, police with the help of the villagers recovered their bodies.

Banswara CI Devilal Meena said that Sogpura resident Shyam Lal's and his sister's two daughters went out to take bath on Sunday.

The family started searching for them when they did not return in the evening.

When the family members reached the drainage basin they found their clothes and footwears lying near the drainage basin.

The bodies were recovered at 9 pm and were sent to Bagidora mortuary for postmortem.

Police are investigating if there is any foul play.
