Alwar (Rajasthan): Three children were burnt alive when a truck caught fire at Chauma village under Ramgarh police limits in Rajasthan's Alwar district on Saturday night.
While one child was taken out safely by people working nearby, three other children died of injuries at the hospital, locals said.
According to sources, the incident took place at around 8 PM on Saturday when the four children were playing inside a parked truck in the village.

Some locals tried to douse the flames and pulled the children out and rushed them to the hospital. Doctors said that out of four children, three had more than 90 per cent burn injuries.
Later, the hospital referred them to the Alwar DHH for treatment as their condition deteriorated. However, three children died on the way to the hospital.
The bodies were cremated Sunday morning in the village.
Meanwhile, the Alwar district administration expressed condolences over the incident and assured an ex gratia for the kin of each of the deceased.
