Jaipur:Olympians Rajyavardhan Rathore and Krishna Poonia are all set to fight in one of the most looked electoral battles from Rajasthan. Slamming his rival Krishna Poonia, Rathore on Sunday said that it was not local body election and voters were wise enough to choose the right candidate in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
Union Minister (MoS) Rajyavardhan Rathore speaks to ETV Bharat Rathore said, "This is the election for the country's progress and development. It is the festival of democracy. It is not elections for a regional issue or municipal ward. It is the election to choose parliamentarian, who if in power, can make laws in the parliament that can secure the future of our young generation."
When asked what are the development works that happened in these 5 years, he said," You can see the positive changes in these 5 years. There is transparency, honesty and strong leadership under the Modi government. The country now has stringent laws working against corrupt people. All this work will help BJP to form the government under PM Modi again."

He defied that caste-based voting is increasing in the country and said voters are wise as well as aware in the current political scenario.
He went on to add, "When questions are put against country then 130 crore Indians unite themselves and work in unison. This will be the election of nationalism and fight against falsity."
Replying to whether the decision to conduct Balakot air-strike in Pakistan will help BJP, he replied, "Yes, for sure."
He alleged that under Congress regime there was weak leadership at the Centre which lacked will power to conduct the offensive strike against terrorists across the border.
