Churu (Rajasthan): In a bizarre incident, a man working as a bovine caretaker in a remote village of Rajasthan, was shocked when the department of Commerical Tax landed at his house to arrest him in a fraud of Rs 5 crore. Murari Lal, who has studied up to class 8, was surprised when the sleuths of the tax department gave him a notice in a fraud case of Rs 5 crore which he never did.
He told ETV Bharat that the sleuths told him that a firm is registered with his name which has a turnover in crores. Muralilal, who is a bovine caretaker by profession, stated that he met a man who offered him to start his own business when he was working in a city-based studio. They exchanged contact numbers.
Murali Lal said that he got a call after a month from the same person whom he met in the studio. He offered to assist in taking bank loans and asked him to share the documents like the Aadhaar card, PAN card and bank statements. He asserted that he never gets a call after sharing the relevant documents.
