New Delhi: Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has expressed her displeasure to the BJP high-command over many of her loyalists not finding a spot in the newly-formed executive committee of party's state unit, sources said.
According to sources, Raje is miffed with the party's central leadership, as many of her loyalists were not included in the executive committee. Further many leaders who she does not share a good relationship, have been included in the committee.
Rajasthan BJP's new executive committee was reportedly constituted on August 1.
Raje had gone to New Delhi last week and met a few central leaders It was being said that she would also meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but that meeting never took place.
Nonetheless, Raje met BJP general secretary (Organisation) BL Santhosh. Sources said that Raje complained to Santhosh that the members of the new executive committee were mostly loyalists of BJP state president Satish Poonia and those with an RSS background.
MP CP Joshi, MLA Chandrakanta Meghwal, Alka Gurjar (former MLA), Ajaypal Singh, Hemraj Meena, Prasan Mehta, Mukesh Dadhich and Madhoram Chaudhary were appointed as the party's vice-presidents in the state.
