Rajasthan transport minister, father summoned by ED

Even though the political turmoil in the state has subsided, Enforcement Directorate has continued probing the Congress members.

Jaipur:Despite the political tug of war in Rajasthan coming to an end with estranged MLA Sachin Pilot resolving issues with the Congress, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has, however, continued hunting down party's leaders.

The latest to be summoned to the ED is Rajasthan Transport Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas and his father -- also the brother of former vice-president Bhairon Singh Shekhawat - Laxman Singh.

The father-son due who is currently in Jaisalmer will return to Jaipur and visit the Directorate.

Earlier, they were summoned to the Delhi office and the after the duo failed to reach the capital, they were issued another notice on Tuesday calling them to the ED office in Jaipur today.

Khachariwas had previously said that the ED is grilling every member of his family, even the older ones who are above 80 years of age.
