Rajasthan: Teenager killed as truck rams into bike in Bhilwara

A 16-year-old boy was killed while returning home when a truck laden with sand rammed into his bike in Rajasthan's Bhilwara district on Thursday.

Bhilwara (Rajasthan): A teenager was killed while returning home when a truck laden with sand rammed into his bike in Bhilwara district of Rajasthan on Thursday.

The 16-year-old Kishor was returning home on a bike when a truck crashed into his bike near Mandal police station area.

Ram Kanwar, the kin of the deceased, said that his nephew was returning home carrying water when a high-speed truck full of sand hit him.

The doctors allegedly did not pay attention to him for hours in the hospital due to which he died, Kanwar said.

The family also refused to lift the body and has demanded compensation, police informed.

The truck driver had escaped from the spot and a case has been registered against him.

The police said that a search for the driver is on.
