The Superintendent of Police, Devendra Kumar Vishnoi said that on May 28, Dr Sudeep Gupta and his wife Dr Seema Gupta were murdered by accused Anuj Gurjar. Police received information that Anuj will come to Bharatpur to meet his girlfriend at 5 a.m. on Sunday from Bayana side.

As soon as the information was received, Circle Officer City, Satish Verma blocked Bayana Road. During checking, the youth was found sitting in a car. He was immediately arrested after interrogation. Superintendent of Police Devendra Kumar Vishnoi said that the police of Bharatpur, Dholpur, and Karauli districts were continuously conducting a search operation to nab the accused. The relatives of the main accused Anuj Gurjar were also being interrogated.

The police have already caught Mahesh Gurjar, the son of Anuj Gurjar's maternal uncle in the murder case. Recently, Superintendent of Police Devendra Kumar Vishnoi had also announced a reward of Rs 5000 on Anuj Gurjar. On May 28, Anuj Gurjar and his maternal uncle's son Mahesh Gurjar shot dead Dr Sudeep Gupta and his wife Dr Seema Gupta, a doctor couple travelling in a vehicle in broad daylight in Kali Bagichi area of ​​the city.
