Dausa:Agitated with the derogatory terms used against Sachin Pilot, members of Youth Congress in Dausa district of Rajasthan staged a protest against Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot by burning his effigy at the Gandhi Circle.
Pilot supporters burn effigy of CM Ashok Gehlot in Dausa The protest was held under the leadership of Youth Congress State Secretary Harimohan Azad.
Earlier on Monday, Gehlot sharpened his attack on Sachin Pilot amid a political crisis in the state. He used the derogatory terms for the sacked deputy chief minister, with whom he is now locked in a tussle for power.
Referring to Pilot's performance as the state Congress chief, Gehlot said, "We knew he is 'nikamma' (useless, incompetent), he is 'nakara' (idle) and not doing any work."
Gehlot did not mention Pilot by name, referring once to him as his "young colleague" and recalling that he had been given important posts by the party at an early age.

Azad said, "This is the lowest level of language. Ashok Gehlot is the chief minister of a state and is also an elderly person. It is inappropriate for him to use such cheap words for Sachin Pilot."
"Gehlot is jealous of him as Pilot Sahab is a handsome young leader and has good command over Hindi and English languages. This reflects that the intelligence of the Chief Minister has been corrupted and we strongly oppose it," he added.
"After his harsh words against Pilot, young workers of Congress are enraged, he has hurt the sentiments of party members. All the youth Congress workers are with the struggle of Sachin Pilot," Youth Congress State Secretary said.
Condemning Gehlot's action he said, "Sachin Pilot has worked hard to develop the Congress government in Rajasthan as youths like him are the pillars of the party who serve with full devotion and sincerity. It is saddening to see how Pilot has been neglected."
Extending their support to the former Rajasthan deputy CM, the Youth Congress members said that they stand with Sachin Pilot with full confidence and will agree to the decision taken in the interest of the general public.
