Jaipur: Rajasthan BJP chief Satish Poonia has said that the political crisis in Rajasthan reflected the weakness of the Congress high command and exposed the party’s "character" once again.

Interacting with the ETV Bharat here, Poonia said, "There should be an audit for the Congress MLAs’ stay at hotels for the past one month, claiming nearly Rs 10 crore has been spent on it."

He also held the "infighting" in the party responsible for the political crisis in the state and said people would certainly hold them accountable for the past 31 days.

"I had said on day one that it is the infighting of the Congress and they kept running from one place to another. There should be an audit of it (MLAs staying in hotels)," Poonia said.

There has been a political crisis, triggered by the rebellion of dissident Congress leader Sachin Pilot and 18 MLAs loyal to him against Gehlot.
