Jaipur: Rajasthan BJP president Satish Poonia lashed out at the state Congress government and said under its rule Rajasthan has become a 'land of gangrapes with the law and order downgrading every day.

Poonia who reached the BJP state headquarters to attend the BJP Legislature Party meeting on Thursday also added that the state needs to get rid of the Congress government in order to prosper.

"Every time there is a meeting of the BJP Legislature Party before the assembly session, we discuss issues which need to highlighted and spoken about. The present government has given full opportunity to us in the last two years whether it is regarding Corona mismanagement, locust attack or law and order issue," Poonia said.

He added that the Congress-ruled states in India are suffering and the party high-command is failing citizens at every step.

Blaming dynasty politics for the issues, Poonia said since the party is now struggling with old-new ideologies and there's a power struggle at the top due to which there is no clear leadership.

Talking about CM Ashok Gehlot, Poonia said that he should take care of his own house [state] rather than blaming BJP for everything as time pass.

Taking a dig at Rahul Gandhi, the state BJP president said, "Internationally-great politician had promised to loan pardon for farmers within 10 days. Nothing except a number of farmers suicide happened so far."

"There is more than two and a half lakh pending rape cases in Rajasthan. The people need to decide for themselves. But, Congress has already lost the confidence of people," he added.
