Jaipur.On the occasion of Republic Day, farmers have been allowed to take out a tractor parade against the newly formed agricultural laws. In Rajasthan, a tractor rally against agricultural laws will be taken out up to the Shahjahanpur border. For this, the Congress as well as the farmers have geared up. In support of farmers, Congress will also send out tractors from 6 districts of the state on Tuesday.
Instead of the party flag, place a tricolour: Dotasara
Congress leader Govind Singh Dotasara has prepared a guideline for the party tractor rally in support of farmers. Dotasara has appealed to supporters not to put the flag of any political party on their tractors.
"This tractor rally is in the interest and support of the farmers rather than a political stunt, hence, the tricolour should be placed on the tractors instead of the flag of the party", said Dotasara.
Congress has flagged off tractors from 6 districts to showcase their solidarity
Congress has sent tractors from six districts of Rajasthan as a sign of protest against the agricultural laws and in support of farmers. For this, all the MLAs and District Heads of Alwar, Dausa, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Jaipur city and the countryside of Jaipur have been instructed to reach Kotputli by the night of 25 January. All the leaders have been asked by Congress to go to Kotputli with tractors. The instructions have been given to take a maximum number of tractors to give the best support to the tractor rally.
Minister Tikaram Julie is driving tractor himself to join the protest
Apart from 6 districts of the state, leaders from many other districts have started travelling for Kotputli. It is being told that they will stay in Kotputli on Monday night. Among them, several leaders, including Minister Rajendra Yadav and state Congress Jaipur division in-charge Govind Meghwal, Alwar District President and Minister Tikaram Julie, former MP Karan Singh Yadav and MLA Shakuntala Rawat, have taken charge of the tractor rally.
Dotasara will not go to rally till Shahjahanpur border
Congress workers under the leadership of Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasara will not go to the tractor rally till Shahjahanpur border. However, the strategy ahead of this is yet to be prepared. It has not been decided yet whether the tractor rally will go to Delhi or return from the Shahjahanpur border itself.
About 3500 tractors will participate in the parade
State Congress President Govind Dotasara informed ETV Bharat that about 3,500 tractors will leave for the parade on behalf of the Congress. He also told that the leaders and prominent faces of the Congress will not attend this rally. The United Kisan Morcha has received permission for 1500 tractors from the Haryana government. Although three to four thousand tractors are being claimed to reach the Haryana border.
