Pregnant woman loses foetus after being beaten in Rajasthan

A pregnant woman in Rajasthan's Bharatpur district lost her foetus as she was beaten brutally by some people for refusing to give them gutka and tobacco. Following the incident, the woman was rushed to the Community Health Centre where her condition is said to be critical.

Bharatpur: In a shocking incident in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur district, a pregnant woman lost her foetus as she was beaten by some people for refusing to give them gutka.

As per sources, the incident took place at Dheemri village in Bharatpur district when the woman refused to give tobacco and gutka to some people. This enraged them and they assaulted the woman with sticks and stones.

Following the incident, the woman was rushed to the Community Health Centre where her condition is said to be critical.

The local police have filed a case regarding the incident and the matter is being investigated.
